The Social License Consortium (SLC) helps companies identify risks and convert them into opportunities for long term sustainability. SLC also helps identify solutions for the company that are necessary to maintain their Social License to Operate.
SLC’s objective is to understand the fundamental needs of the community to identify solutions that not only help the communities establish and empower themselves but also help resource companies mitigate their risks.
The picture below shows the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Through initial investment and financing obtained, SLC will implement businesses in the communities that will immediately target the fundamental needs and once those needs are met, the communities will be able to grow and satisfy some of the other needs. Our goal is accomplished when we achieve a Sustainable Community Development (SCD).
